Editing can be fun, when you use the Curves tool to bring out hidden color in your image. A lot of people think that Curves is only for making things brighter or darker, but it’s so much more than that! There’s a lot of color in this image but you don’t see it. This edit will show you how to find it. Once you’ve found the color, you can also use Curves to find the light. I’ll show you how to adjust skin and then dodge and burn using ONLY the curves tool! Put the focus firmly on your subject and bring your image to life! Curves makes it easy and it’s fun too!
Join me and follow along as I take you through Full Length Retouching and Compositing Video Tutorial and cover every stage from the RAW out of camera files through to the final print ready images.

From Shoot to Edit: Tethered Shooting Basics for Studio Photography
The best photographers have a good idea of the image they’re after from the very beginning of the process. But shooting with a specific end product in mind requires a lot of thought and planning. Dan Brouillette will show you how to do it by creating a live, in-studio portrait shoot with simple lighting. You’ll learn how to make adjustments for color correction and toning in Capture One®, the best way to use shadows and highlights while tethering, and how to perform additional post-processing work in Photoshop®.
In this class we will get you from "last time when I used an analog camera I was 6" to let's go out and shoot your first roll of 35mm film.
I will guide you on getting your first camera, explain the different films and settings, to your first developed film.
I always look for the light when deciding which images to turn black and white. This image has nice directional light, it just needs a little more definition to bring the image from good to great. Watch as I do a full color edit and then change this to a stunning black and white image. See how I use the tools in my Photoshop toolbox to bring your eye right to my handsome young subject and keep it there!
This is the most important class about the technical side of fashion-photography, where we study how light works and analyze how 7 trend lighting solutions work, which are used in fashion photography and in advertising photography. The chip of the class is that even a beginner with a very modest studio shooting experience can apply these solutions. Of course, after viewing the class.
